Return Policy
Our generous return policy was designed to ensure your ease-of-mind during the order process. Products may be returned within 30 days of receipt as long as they are in new condition. Defective products may be returned within 90 days of purchase.
Schedule a Return
Contact Us with the following information:
- invoice number
- the item being returned
- reason for the return
- refund or exchange request
Upon review and approval of your request, we will issue a Return Authorization Number (RA#) within 2 business days. RA#s are only valid for 14 days and products returned to us without a valid RA# will not be processed, refunded or exchanged.
Ship your return to Butterfly Farming Supplies within 10 business days. Be sure to properly package, label and track all return shipments.
Receive a Refund
Products returned with a valid RA# will be processed within 2 business days of receipt. Refunds will be given for the original purchase price of the product. Shipping charges are not refunded unless the item being returned is defective or was shipped in error by Butterfly Farming Supplies. If the product received a free shipping promotion, the actual shipping cost we incurred may be deducted from the refund.
Products are only refundable to the original purchaser. In all other cases, products can be exchanged as long as they are in new condition. All shipping costs for exchanges will be at the customer’s expense unless the item is defective.
Exchange a Product
Exchange requests may be made for any new, currently stocked product. All shipping costs for exchanges will be charged to the customer.
Cancel an Order
You may cancel an order at any time prior to your order being shipped. Orders that have been shipped cannot be canceled and must be processed as a return. We typically process and ship most orders within 2 business days, so don’t delay contacting us with your cancelation request.
